A. THE DELIVERABLES Windsor Essex Community Housing Corporation intends to prequalify Contractors for Parking Lots, Driveways and Civil Works improvements of various residential developments within our portfolio in the City of Windsor, Town of Amherstburg, Town of Essex and the Municipality of Leamington. The work will be carried out over multiple phases, spanning from 2026 to 2028. The scope of work varies by development type and includes but not limited to: • Isolated Repairs/Complete reconstruction of asphalt/concrete pavement parking lot/roadway including sub-grade, catch basins and curbs. • Replacement or installation of new concrete catch basin skirts. • Complete replacement of concrete driveways. • Repair, replacement and new installations of concrete sidewalks and lead walks. • Replacement or new installations of concrete patio slabs. • Repair or replacement of porches, porch railings and steps. • Replacement or new installation of basement waterproofing. • Foundation wall repairs. • Underground Parking Garage Repairs • Repair, replacement or new installation of wooden/chain-link fence. • Replacement or new installation of window wells. • Complete or isolated regrading of yard including installation of beach stones. • Storm/Sewer reconstruction works or new Storm/sewer installation. • Repair or replacement of downspouts and eavestrough. • Construction of EarthBin foundation and supply/installation of new EarthBins. • Installation of Signages. • Landscaping works. • Line Painting. The Proponent shall be responsible for planning, executing, overseeing, inspecting, and managing the construction project, and shall be responsible for its successful completion. The Proponent’s responsibility extends from the start of the project to the project closing including the required warranty period. In delivering the Services, the Supplier shall perform all duties and assume all responsibilities and liabilities of a “constructor” under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Ontario) and the Regulations thereunder, and release, defend, indemnify and hold harmless CHC from any liability for doing so. In this regard, Proponent will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment and meeting all compliance requirements necessary to complete the works as designed by CHC consultants. The proponent will also coordinate permits and Utility locates, scheduled inspections by the municipality/city, site safety, scheduling, daily/weekly reporting and other coordination required to perform the works. CHC will be responsible to coordinate and communicate all work schedule with its tenants and arrange access to work site, based on agreed upon schedule.
