Outcome Oriented. The scope of work in this RFPc is outcome oriented. The Proponent is required to achieve the below listed outcomes:
a. A number of multi-story units shall undergo the removal of the existing siding, shutters, soffits/fascia, eavestroughs, downspouts and exterior air barrier and the installation of new air barrier, rigid insulation, wood blocking and vinyl siding along with soffits/fascia, eavestroughs with gutter guards, downspouts and all associated flashings as a replacement.
b. Plan, organize and complete the work in such a way that the installation of new insulating material and façade finishes, color matched soffits/fascia and eavestroughs and downspouts, new exterior vent covers, small canopy and sheathing is completed within 3 workdays (per unit).
c. Refer to Part 15: Detailed Work Specifications for additional requirements.
1.2 Goals. In achieving the above listed outcomes, the Proponent must do so in a way that achieves CHC’s goals as follows:
a. Improve the living conditions within CHC owned and operated units in the Curry and McKay development.
b. Replace/upgrade the insulation/façade/downspouts/exterior vent covers/sheathing with durable components that would be suited for this development.
c. Minimize tenant inconveniences during renovation period.
