Scope of Work: General Description. The Work Requirements in this RFT involve the replacement of existing asphalt driveways at CHC’s Curry McKay Development.
Proponent to:
1. Provide all necessary fencing and hoarding to complete work.
2. Proponent to acquire locates of existing services to complete work.
3. Remove existing 4” asphalt driveway complete with 8” sub-base.
4. Remove and dispose of existing precast parking bumper.
5. Proof roll exposed subgrade.
6. Fill material required to raise or grade the general subgrade to be composed of Granular ‘B’ Type II (OPSS 1010) compacted to 98% of its SPMDD.
7. Cap two existing outdoor storm pipes at the sides of each unit below the asphalt.
8. Provide 12” of granular “A” (OPSS 1010) subbase compacted to 100% SPMDD in lift thickness commensurate with the employed compaction equipment.
9. Provide 1-1/2” of HL-3 on 2-1/2” HL-4 asphalt. All asphalt should be placed in accordance with the Ontario Provincial Standards and compacted to 92% of the Marshall mix design maximum theoretical density. Asphalt to be sloped away from building structures. Flare asphalt at end of driveways to match curb cut.
10. Provide topsoil to regrade at the sides of all driveways and provide hydroseed.
11. Provide all necessary site clean-up of debris, asphalt, etc.
12. Contractor responsibility to obtain services of an approved Third-Party Material Testing as per the testing and inspection allowance.
